Effective charter performance

The current charter market is extremely dynamic requiring a keen eye to keep an aircraft busy, particularly with the current oversupply of aircraft in the market. To make the most of your commercial opportunities our global charter team will:

  • check_circle Pricing We will advise you (using industry data) the market rates, volumes of flights and competition for trips for your aircraft type. We will then recommend a course of action on how best to represent your private jet aircraft and what our target number of flight hours will be. You can then transfer the aircraft or remain with your provider.
  • check_circle Presentation Use all available channels to market the aircraft’s availability for the number of hours agreed with the client. This includes our social, web channels and industry marketplaces such as Avinode.
  • check_circle Reporting We will provide monthly reports to you based on the charter demand for the month including trips completed and trips declined, plus any actions to improve the look-to-book ratio.

AOC or part NCC? Let us help you decide the best fit for your mission.

From 2016 owners have had the option to fly aircraft under part-NCC (Non commercial complex) for private operations. While NCC can be a cheaper alternative to private operations it can place far greater responsibilities and liabilities on the aircraft owner, family office and chief pilot than the traditional AOC model. This isn’t to say it doesn’t offer advantages but we would suggest taking professional advise before deciding on which route to progress with.

VAT and importing. What do you need to know?

VAT on importation of business aviation aircraft is a highly specialised field and one that we would suggest you take professional advise on from a Tax expert in conjunction with an aircraft management company such as ourselves. Why? The country of registration and therefor the VAT applied is inexorably linked to the mission capability of the aircraft. Choose the wrong country and it may prove costly.

Maintenance control, ADS-B-Out and new regulations

Aside of the operational costs of running the aircraft, your largest bills will generally come from maintenance particularly with older types requiring large checks.

With changing airspace regulations creating new mandates such as ADS-B Out, CPDLC and FANS1/A, successful maintenance planning and control can save money and reduce your aircraft’s downtime.
