Whether it is during a military Training Exercise, military deployment or on detachment, accidents can happen which may require Medevac or Casevac by air ambulance. While all branches of the Military have excellent medical teams, procedures and support services for such eventualities it can be faster or more economically viable to deploy a civilian air ambulance to provide the military repatriation service.
With fully dedicated private air ambulance fixed wing and rotary aircraft based in Scotland and Bournemouth, we have coverage across the UK for repatriation or transfer of injured or sick military personnel.

At all times your Medevac or Casevac needs will be handled by our medical team, who will work in consultation with the RAF, Navy or Army onsite medical team. This will include;
Our Air Ambulance medical team is led by Medical Director, Dr Simon Forrington.
Dr Forrington is a Consultant in Intensive Care and Anaesthesia at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest and most respected Trusts in the UK. Dr Forrington is Medical Director for Gama Aviation’s Special Mission’s team and is head of standards for the European Aeromedical Institute (EURAMI). He also has 2 years direct clinical experience as a medical HEMS Consultant with the UK’s North West Air Ambulance.
Working alongside Dr Forrington is a highly skilled and professional team of Flight Doctors, Flight Nurses and Flight Paramedics. The team has a great deal of experience in aeromedical transportation, moving patients, often critically unwell, from all corners of the world. The Medical Department is focused on delivering a service that is safe, effective and of a consistently high quality.
Our Bournemouth International Airport facility, a hangar and office facility of over 135,000 sq ft provides an extraordinary space which we aim to turn into one of Europe’s flagship business aviation facilities.
