Military Air Ambulance services for Medevac and Casevac

Whether it is during a military Training Exercise, military deployment or on detachment, accidents can happen which may require Medevac or Casevac by air ambulance. While all branches of the Military have excellent medical teams, procedures and support services for such eventualities it can be faster or more economically viable to deploy a civilian air ambulance to provide the military repatriation service.

With fully dedicated private air ambulance fixed wing and rotary aircraft based in Scotland and Bournemouth, we have coverage across the UK for repatriation or transfer of injured or sick military personnel.

Specifically, we can provide:

  • A dedicated, standby ‘go now’ helicopter air ambulance for UK military training exercises
  • UK fixed wing repatriations from RAF Aldergrove
  • UK fixed wing or helicopter medical transfers from mainland UK bases including the far north of Scotland
  • Repatriation services from Germany, Estonia, Latvia or other NATO states
  • Pilots who are familiar with military processes and procedures

  • arrange for road transportation to meet the aircraft (on departure and arrival)
  • monitor the patient’s condition during the flight and make necessary interventions as required
  • transfer the patient to an awaiting ambulance on arrival
  • accompany the patient (as required) handing over the care of the patient to the receiving hospital
