The Leonardo AW139 helicopter, is a 15 seat twin-engine rotorcraft, ideal for the air ambulance and rescue missions as well as energy & offshore applications. The Leonardo AW139 has a large mission capability with over 1000 airframes having been delivered in the lifespan of the AW139 series. With superior performance, proven technologies and excellent safety features the AW139 is one of the most versatile multi-role helicopters in theatre.
With tried and tested designs and specifications for HEMS emergency medical service and law enforcement duties, along with aerial work, passenger transport – including private and business aviation – and AW139 offshore operations. The AW139 operates with Category A and perfomance class 1 certification for operations in emergency conditions.

With a large unobstructed cabin, that is able to cater for 5 medical personnel with the allowance for 4 stretchers and the suite of medical equipment and life support machinery. With sliding doors on both sides meaning stretchers can be loaded with greater versatility both on the ground and inflight.
The well designed cabin allows for a variety of layouts with a well proportioned working space.
