Gama Aviation strengthens FBO leadership with the appointment of Daniel Myles as Head of FBO Services
Gama Aviation is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Myles as Head of FBO Services. This pivotal move reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering world-class client experiences and expanding its global FBO presence.
A wealth of experience in business aviation.
With nearly 30 years in business aviation, Daniel brings a breadth of experience that spans operational leadership, customer experience, and multi-site management. He has held senior positions at Jet Aviation and Signature Flight Support, most recently serving as Senior Director of Global Customer Experience. Over the course of his career, Daniel has overseen up to 15 FBO locations across the UK and Europe, including Glasgow and Edinburgh. He has earned a reputation for operational excellence, trusted stakeholder relationships, and a keen focus on service consistency.
This wealth of experience will be invaluable as Gama Aviation continues to refine and expand its FBO network.
Strengthening today, shaping tomorrow.
In his new role, Daniel’s immediate priority will be to work closely with the team at Glasgow to optimise and strengthen operations, ensuring clients enjoy a smooth, efficient, and welcoming service every time they fly. He will also collaborate with the team in Jersey, where Gama Aviation’s FBO is well-regarded for its attentive service and reliability.
Looking beyond the UK, Daniel will play a central role in shaping the client journey at Gama Aviation’s new Business Aviation Centre (BAC) in Sharjah, set to open later this year. The BAC will become the flagship facility within the network, combining modern infrastructure with the group’s renowned service culture, designed to meet the needs of business aviation clients in one of the world’s fastest-growing markets.
A leadership team committed to growth.
Tom Murphy, Managing Director FBO Services at Gama Aviation, commented:
“Daniel’s deep operational knowledge and client focus will be invaluable as we strengthen our FBO network. His appointment reflects our commitment to delivering world-class FBO services, underpinned by experience, consistency and care.”
Daniel Myles added:
“Joining Gama Aviation at a time of growth and investment is a tremendous opportunity. With the upcoming launch of the Sharjah Business Aviation Centre and the continued development of our UK operations, I’m excited to play a role in shaping a network that delivers consistency, care and excellence for business aviation clients worldwide.”
Building a connected network for Business Aviation.
The appointment also underscores Gama Aviation’s wider vision for its Business Aviation services. As part of a global group that includes Aircraft Management & Charter and MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul), the FBO network plays a vital role in creating a seamless client journey — from the aircraft to the hangar, and from flight planning to ground support.
With Daniel’s leadership, the FBO division will continue to align closely with other areas of the business, ensuring that clients benefit from a fully integrated service model. Whether it is a managed aircraft arriving for maintenance, a charter client connecting through one of our FBOs, or a visiting operator requiring swift and discreet turnaround, the goal is the same: to deliver consistent, reliable, and premium experiences across every touchpoint.
Looking ahead.
Daniel begins his journey with an induction at Farnborough before travelling to Glasgow to spend time with the team and start work on supporting day-to-day operations. His arrival marks the next stage in the broader programme of investment across Gama Aviation, as the group continues to build a strong, future-focused network of facilities that combine infrastructure with exceptional service.
From established FBO locations in Glasgow and Jersey to the flagship Sharjah Business Aviation Centre, due to open later this year, Daniel’s leadership will help shape a network built on consistency, reliability, and care — values that are at the heart of Gama Aviation’s promise to its clients.
