A new cohort of engineers has joined Gama Aviation’s Bournemouth facility for six weeks of intensive B300/B200 B1/B2 type training.

Led by MRO Training Instructor Simon Heap, the programme combines classroom learning with hands-on instruction, preparing engineers to achieve their B300 and B200 B1 and B2 type certificates for CAA licence endorsement. The result is greater technical capability to support the continued operation of these widely used aircraft.

Since its launch in 2022, the course has seen over 60 engineers qualify, underscoring Gama Aviation’s standing as a trusted commercial provider of aviation training.

Simon Heap, MRO Training Instructor, said:

“Delivering this course is always a privilege. The calibre and commitment of the engineers ensure they leave with not only the certification but also the confidence to apply their skills in the field. It’s a direct contribution to keeping these aircraft flying safely and effectively.”

Olusegun Johnson, Training Manager MRO, added:
