Sharjah Business Aviation Centre Takes Shape Ahead of Opening
Gama Aviation’s Sharjah Business Aviation Centre is progressing steadily from vision to reality, marking a significant investment in the future of business aviation in the UAE and the wider region.
A newly released short film captures both the physical progress on site and the final design vision for the Centre, offering a clear view of a facility built with purpose and designed specifically around the operational realities of business aviation. From the outset, the Sharjah BAC has been shaped by a clear focus on performance, privacy and operational efficiency.
The Centre has been designed to remove friction from business aviation operations. Unconstrained access, short taxi times and uncongested airspace are complemented by discreet VVIP handling, dedicated hangarage, and carefully considered crew and client facilities. Every element has been planned to support seamless movement, predictable operations and a consistently high-quality experience.
Sharjah’s strategic location and operational flexibility provide a strong foundation for business aviation. The Business Aviation Centre has been created to capitalise on these inherent strengths, offering a compelling environment for aircraft basing, transient operations and regional connectivity. Rather than adding another option to the market, the Sharjah BAC introduces a more considered approach — one that prioritises flow, discretion and confidence in every movement.
Commenting on the project, Tom Murphy, Managing Director of FBO Services at Gama Aviation, said:
“The Sharjah Business Aviation Centre has been designed from the ground up around how business aviation actually operates. It brings together location, infrastructure and operational freedom to create a facility that removes complexity rather than adds to it. This is about setting a new standard for efficiency, privacy and performance in the region.”
As construction continues, the Sharjah Business Aviation Centre is set to play a key role in strengthening the regional business aviation ecosystem, providing a dedicated gateway to the Northern Emirates and beyond. The project reflects Gama Aviation’s long-term commitment to Sharjah and its growing importance within the UAE’s aviation landscape.
The accompanying two-minute video brings this vision to life, combining real-world progress with final design renders to show how the Centre is taking shape and what operators, owners and crews can expect ahead of opening.
Further details on the design philosophy, facilities and positioning of the Sharjah Business Aviation Centre are available to view in the promotional brochure, which can be viewed by clicking here
Operators, owners and industry partners interested in discussing operational options or arranging a tour of the facility ahead of its opening are invited to contact Tom Murphy, Managing Director FBO Services, or Engin Basyurt, Head of Business Development.
The Sharjah Business Aviation Centre is being created to deliver a clear advantage for business aviation in the UAE — not an alternative.
