Bournemouth receives its first major maintenance input for the Bombardier Challenger 604

Bournemouth, 23rd October – Gama Aviation, the global business aviation services company, has started work on a major refurbishment project for a Bombardier Challenger 604 that will see the aircraft become compliant with the fast approaching 2020 ADS-B Out mandate.

The full scope of works for the aircraft will include: a 96 month check, full interior refurnbishment, full exterior paint as well as compliance with ADS-B Out, CPDLC and Fans 1/A. The work, previously undertaken at Gama Aviation’s Oxford facility, is taking place at its new 135,000 sq ft facility at Bournemouth International Airport. The hangar facility was opened in September and has undertaken a steady stream of checks for Challenger 604’s, King Air 200’s and King Air 350’s since receieving its EASA approvals.
