Gama Aviation has expanded its international Aircraft Management & Charter capabilities following the official award of an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and Air Operating Licence (AOL) to Gama Aviation San Marino S.r.l. by the San Marino Aircraft Registry.

The certification represents another important strategic milestone for the Group as it continues to strengthen its international operating platform and provide aircraft owners with greater flexibility across multiple jurisdictions.

The newly approved San Marino AOC further enhances Gama Aviation’s growing portfolio of international operating certificates, complementing existing AOCs and operating structures across Malta, Austria, the Cayman Islands and the United Kingdom.

The addition of San Marino provides aircraft owners and operators with access to another highly regarded and internationally recognised aviation registry, while further strengthening Gama Aviation’s ability to deliver tailored aircraft management and charter solutions aligned to individual operational, regulatory and ownership requirements.

The certification process was completed in close cooperation with the San Marino Aircraft Registry and involved extensive operational, technical, safety, compliance and management approvals across the business.

Philipp Schuster, Deputy Managing Director Aircraft Management & Charter at Gama Aviation, said:
Gama Aviation Strengthens Global Aircraft Management Capability with New San Marino AOC 2

“This is an important strategic development for Gama Aviation and reflects the continued growth of our international Aircraft Management & Charter business. Expanding our AOC capabilities allows us to offer greater flexibility and tailored solutions to aircraft owners operating across multiple jurisdictions, while continuing to deliver the high operational and service standards our clients expect.

I would also like to personally thank the entire postholder team involved in achieving this certification. A significant amount of hard work, commitment and collaboration has gone into this project, and this milestone would not have been possible without their professionalism and dedication throughout the process.”

Gama Aviation also acknowledged the support and professionalism of the San Marino Aircraft Registry throughout the certification programme.

Marco Tumietto, Aircraft Registration & Licensing Officer at the San Marino Aircraft Registry, commented:

“It has been a true pleasure working with the Gama Aviation team throughout this certification process. Their professionalism, responsiveness and collaborative approach contributed greatly to a smooth and successful outcome, and we look forward to continuing our cooperation in the future.”

The newly issued certificate has also been allocated AOC Number 007, a detail that subtly connects to Gama Aviation’s British ownership and international operating heritage.

The new San Marino operation forms part of Gama Aviation’s broader long-term strategy to continue expanding its international aircraft management and charter capabilities through carefully selected and strategically important operating jurisdictions.

Graham Williamson, Managing Director Aircraft Management & Charter at Gama Aviation, added:

Gama Aviation welcomes Hunt & Palmer to the Group 6

“The continued expansion of our international AOC structure is an important part of how we support both existing and future aircraft owners. Clients increasingly require flexibility, international reach and operational solutions that can adapt to changing requirements across different regions and regulatory environments. The addition of San Marino further strengthens our ability to provide that support.”

Today, Gama Aviation’s Aircraft Management & Charter division continues to support a broad international client base through a combination of aircraft management, charter, operational oversight and global support services across Europe, the Middle East and international markets.
