Challenger 604: Branson tank failure

During a 60 month inspection of a Challenger 604 at Palm Beach International, the forward branson tank failed the intertank pressure test. The team at PBI, despite a hard deadline to release the aircraft safely back to service, removed and repaired the tank, retesting it on the way to completing the 60 month inspection. This also included a 400 hour APU, engine 1 and 2 plus airframe inspection.

“The team did an excellent job in bringing the aircraft back to service. Having seen some pictures along the way I couldn’t believe the condition the aircraft was returned in. Spectacular job and I couldn’t recommend the team highly enough.”
