My career as an aviation interior designer and refurbishment expert began at Gulfstream Aerospace after graduation from Florida State University with a degree in interior design. Aviation design has always fascinated me because I love the extra level of problem-solving required to deal with the small spaces and aviation regulations unique to aircraft interiors. During my time at Gulfstream I excelled through varying roles in the sales and design process. This allows me to have a holistic approach when designing and provide better recommendations to my customers.

After nearly a decade of helping customers transform their aircraft, I’ve created new looks as sweeping as a completely redesigned interior and as subtle as a single recovered divan. Whatever the scope of the project, my customers receive the best solutions to fit their needs.

Your scheme
The exterior of an aircraft is what makes that all-important first impression so it’s critical that we get it right. You deserve more than a paint job found in a book of options. We’ll work together to discuss your style and goals, and I’ll create a custom paint scheme just for you.

The colors
It’s been my experience that working with the correct paint vendor considerably improves the quality and timeframe of a paint project. That’s why I coordinate with your chosen paint facility and utilize their preferred paint vendors when designing your scheme. Colors can vary on electronic devices so you will receive actual paint samples and know exactly what to expect once your choice is made.

Maintenance
I design your paint scheme with routine aircraft maintenance visits in mind to ensure your paint always looks its best.

Aircraft evaluation
To best understand your aircraft and how you utilize it, I start with an aircraft evaluation. This ensures that the design of the interior best meets your aesthetic and how you operate your aircraft. It’s during this time that we determine the scope of your project.

The design
Based on the evaluation and the scope of work, you will receive the complete specification and technical details of the proposed design, including requirements such as elevations, a material finish schedule, renderings and specific details of any loose equipment. I’ll provide all the information to execute the design concept. With a comprehensive design in hand, you will be able to more accurately compare quotes from multiple refurbishment facilities.

Your plan
One of the most challenging aspects of any aircraft refurbishment is synchronizing the material lead time with the work schedule. With each design, I will provide a lead time plan for the materials to help your chosen refurbishment facility complete your project on schedule.

Project management. Independent oversight that ensures high quality delivery.

Eyes & ears
No two aircraft design projects are the same. While they all follow similar processes, each has unique challenges. As your design representative, I will coordinate with your facility of choice to execute your design as planned, and quickly resolve any questions that arise.

Communication
Communication is key to the success of any project. You will receive regularly scheduled project updates along with access at your convenience to a live digital project file that tracks daily progress.
