The Engineering Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the day to day management and leadership of the Gama Aviation (Engineering) Ltd (GAEL) Doncaster EASA 145 Base Maintenance hangar reporting to the GAEL 145 Base Maintenance Manager at Head office in Bournemouth.
The requirement of the Part 145 Compliance Auditor / Administrator shall be to support the Head of Compliance and Part 145 Compliance Manager, in ensuring that the standards of the Compliance System is maintained. By the conducting of audits, where appropriate, and assisting in the implementation of the Compliance and Quality system, the individual is helping to ensure compliance with European (EASA), Federal (FAA) and other appropriate maintenance standards held by the organisation becoming an integral part of the Compliance function, thus maintaining a close liaison with the UK CAA and other Competent Authorities on matters affecting the approvals held.

This new role has arisen due to Gama’s planned expansion of its European 145 maintenance business and recent investment in a new flagship facility at Bournemouth airport. Through this expansion Gama is building its team of Stores, Logistics and Procurement specialists.
The Licenced Engineer – is a certifying Licenced Engineer position and must hold a valid EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence and more specifically ideally be Britten Norman Islander type. The Licenced Engineer must also be prepared to work flexibly as part of a team as an integral part of the Gama Engineering Group and as such must have strong communication organisation and leadership skills.
Working as part of the Commercial Department within our aircraft maintenance organisation, reporting to the Commercial Manager.
The B1 Licenced Engineer (B1 LAE) is a certifying Licenced Engineer position, the B1 LAE must hold a valid EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence with a Type Rating and recent maintenance experience on at least one of the Aircraft Types that our Bournemouth Base is approved to maintain. Bombardier Challenger CL-600-2A12/-2B16 (601, 604, 605). – Bombardier Global / Global Express BD-700-1A10/-1A11 - Hawker 125 Series all models – Cessna Citation 560XLS Cessna 510 Mustang The B1 LAE must also be prepared to work flexibly as part of a team, not only locally at Bournemouth but as an integral part of the Gama Engineering Group and as such must have strong communication organisation and leadership skills.
The Technical Records Administrator (TRA) is an integral part of the Company’s operational structure responsible for the administration of the company’s Technical Records Department working within the company’s EASA part 145 maintenance facility.
The B1 Licenced Engineer (B1 LAE) – Bournemouth is a certifying Licenced Engineer position, the B1 LAE must hold a valid EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence and more specifically must be King Air 350 (300) Type Rated.
