Position: Part M Co-ordinator/Technical Services

Location: Fairoaks

Salary: £28,000 – £29,000


Job Information:

To ensure aircraft airworthiness records are compliant with regulations and Company procedures whilst providing assistance and support to 145 Engineers.

The Role:

Review Aircraft Records (from birth)/Log Book Review/Life Limited Component Review/Airworthiness Review & Service Bulletin Review prior to loading aircraft onto maintenance data tracking system.

Manage aircraft records (daily), produce maintenance reports (weekly), advise customer next maintenance due

Production of Estimates for scheduled maintenance, defect rectification, component overhaul/replacement and modification work, liaison with customer from beginning of process to aircraft serviceable

Manage part ordering & defect rectification with Stores department, liaise with customer re leadtimes & cost implications that may increase aircraft downtime

Primary interface with the customer to build ongoing relationships and manage their enquiries and provide regular updates relating to any aircraft enquiry/maintenance.

Liaison with all departments where relevant in order to supply/receive updated information to support customer enquiries.  Daily interaction with shop floor, Fixed Wing and Rotary Wing personnel & Stores personnel

Liaison with external facilities regarding overhaul of components, estimates and leadtimes.

Comprehensive knowledge relating to all Regulatory Organisations ie; (CAA/EASA/FAA/IOM/BERMUDAN), ability to locate regulatory information and forms & understand/interpret regulatory changes.

Production of Airworthiness Review Certification documentation and or Certificate of Airworthiness documentation for aircraft.  Liaise with CAM for authorisation, physical survey and completion.

Maintenance Programme Review (supervised by CAM) annually, Maintenance Programme amends/updates following OEM Chapter 4 & 5 amends & regulatory amends.  Liaison with Customer and engineering teams

Customised LAMP for all managed aircraft, liaise with customer and tailor accordingly.  To be reviewed annually.

Aircraft modification records & ICA’s (Instruction for Continued Airworthiness) to be documented and tracked on Maintenance tracking system

Airworthiness Directive & Service Bulletin Review for all aircraft

Production and certification of Log Book Certificates

Production of Workpacks following customer acceptance of Estimate, opening and closing of workpacks.  Audit workpack ensuring compliance with regulations and company procedures ie; checking all completed workcards and paperwork ie Form 1’s, 8130’s are documented correctly, checking engineers have correctly signed each task card, modification paperwork and ICAs as appropriate, Independent Inspections.  Updating of maintenance tracking system & provide updated scheduled maintenance report for aircraft.

Assist Regulatory Authorities & Quality/Compliance personnel during Audit Procedures for both Part M & Technical Services Department, providing examples where required

Compliant with: Gama Aviation Engineering MOE latest revision

Compliant with Gama Aviation Engineering CAME latest revision

Responsibility Includes: Gama Aviation Engineering Part M Authorisation Certificate & Gama Aviation Engineering Part 145 Personal Authorisation Document (2yr competency assessment).  Technical Services Authorisation Stamp issued.

Responsible for training Technical Services Administrator/Part M Trainee

Comprehensive understanding & overview of all department procedures

Hours: 40 hour week, Monday to Friday
