Gama Aviation Hutchison (Hong Kong), has today launched details of its new maintenance check packages1 in collaboration with CASL starting this summer.
The new maintenance check packages have been designed to provide a cost effective, transparent pricing model for fleet and private owners at one of the region’s busiest business aviation hubs with an estimated 8,8452 business aviation movements and over 140 resident aircraft2.
Sergio Oliveira e Silva, General Manager, comments: “We have identified that business aircraft owners and operators often face opaque pricing and final bills that can climb alarmingly from the initial quote. Today we, through our collaboration with CASL, are introducing a simplified pricing structure for standard maintenance inspections on Gulfstream and Bombardier aircraft.
Gama Aviation’s own research has identified cost as being a major contributing factor for owners and operators to use lower-priced facilities in locations such as Singapore.
Sergio Oliveira e Silva continues:
“To fly an aircraft 3-4 hours for an annual check is inconvenient for the owner, adds hours to the aircraft and is in our view, completely unnecessary. Our innovative approach, via our general sales agreement with CASL, offers a safe, credible alternative for owners / operators that meets their need for a high level of service, convenience and price transparency.”
Expressions of interest are being taken during ABACE for annual inspections due this summer (and beyond) for the Gulfstream G450 and G550, and Bombardier Global series of aircraft. Standard annual inspection packages for the Gulfstream G550, for example, are anticipated to retail at close to a 30% discount from the current market rate.
